Is it too early to plan for St. Paddy’s Day?

We didn't think so, either. So who's having the coolest St. Patrick's party in The Nam? Sure, Paddy's has an unfair advantage, what with actual Irishness involved. We notice that Fubar/Spring Lake has ante'd up. Who's next to rise to the challenge? That's right, we want you (well, those of you who represent bars and/or house parties) to vie for our St. Paddy's affections. Cos we really, really wanna have some fun.

In case you’re a slacker who hasn’t made Halloween plans, a couple of our Myspace friends have good times on tap tonight.

Jester’s Pub - Halloween Show with Project Independent Showcase NC State Finals
Several bands scheduled.

Paddy’s Irish Public House
Paddy sez: “We are having an impromptu Halloween bash. Don’t have a clue what will be going on but it will be fun, fun, fun.”

This is what you call free advertising, folks. But it’s a public service for people who’re, uh, too busy, yeah that’s it, to schedule for a holiday they’ve known was coming all year long. People like me for instance. So if I’m not too wrapped up in making Friday’s newspaper, maybe I’ll see you out at one of these fine establishments. I don’t promise any of that costume stuff, though.
